Foods & Drinks
There are many traditions in the UK. The tradition of what they eat is a common and popular food or drink most people know about is that they eat fish and chips, and they also eat bubble & squeak, pies, trifle, Yorkshire pudding,etc. The British people are very huge drinkers when it comes to tea. The United Kingdom was introduced to tea around the 17th century and the country has grown to love tea over the the past centuries as well.
Language
There about 4 national languages in the United Kingdom. The language are Welsh, Scots, English, and Scottish Gaelic, these languages are apart of the UK but the main language is English because the population of people that speak English is 98% of people.
Government
The type of government the United Kingdom has is a constitutional monarchy and a Parliament system. The head of government is the Prime Minister, the job of the Prime Minister is to take responsibility of the policy and decisions. The senior members of the government are called “The Cabinet” where they discuss about what they need to improve on or any government issues. There are 117 ministers in the government, their responsible of actions, triumph and deteriorate of their work. The legislation has to go through the Parliament (The Lords and The Queen) in order for a bill to become a law.
Sports
The United Kingdom is very diverse when it comes to sports interest. There most popular sports are Tennis, Swimming, Cricket, Field hockey, Rugby football, football, etc.
